The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya is located in the National Palace of Montjuïc, built for the 1929 Barcelona International Fair. The Museum has the world’s best collection of Romanesque mural painting as well as works by the most representative artists of Catalan Modernisme, such as Gaudí or Casas. The museum collection is completed by Gothic art, great European painters from the Renaissance and the Baroque, such as Titian and Velázquez, and the photography collection.
The exceptional forcefulness, quality and versatility of the collection offers us a 360-degree experience: before, during and after the visit.
