The foreman’s house was near the mining facilities. Victòria. Mine Musèu dera Val d'Aran.

The development of mining in Aran brought in foreign labour and slowed down the seasonal migration to France. This led to greater circulation of money and the need to meet the needs of the workers and officials of the mines. For this reason, houses were built, rooms rented and establishments like shops, cafes and taverns opened

This building was the home of the foreman. The remains still preserved indicate a construction with two floors and attic made with local materials: stone and wood. The building seems to date from the early days of mining.
