According to the Labour Plan developed in 1951, the Victoria mine had 215 workers, and at that time the mine had 7,530 metres of interior routes, 1 km of outdoor track and 40 wagons that were driven primarily by human effort. For this reason, and to facilitate the movement of the wagons when they were loaded with ore, the galleries tilted slightly outwards. This small slope also served to facilitate the evacuation of water.
