The aluminium dairy churn is testimony to the transformation of the district, showing the transformation from a primarily rural area at the end of the 19th century to one of the most heavily industrialised cities in Catalonia during the 20th century. This object was used to deliver fresh milk daily to homes from a dairy located very close to where the Museum is. Many ways of doing different activities and consumption habits that have been transformed, and left behind, reflecting the great demographic and socio-economic changes that have occurred.
