Vagó del Sevillano, 1956, Museum of the History of Immigration in Catalonia Collection.

The rail carriage is the most iconic piece of the MhiC, located in the garden: it dates from 1956. It was a donation from the Vilafranca Railway Museum to the Museum of the History of Immigration in Catalonia. It symbolically represents the internal migrations of the 20th century which had their destination in Catalonia. This carriage carried about one million people inside its compartments and its route was: Seville - Barcelona Terminus (Estació de França). To this day, it is a part of the museum's permanent exhibition.
