Reconstruction of a titanosaurus from the findings from a 2002 excavation at the Molí de Baró 2 site, in Sant Romà d’Abella (municipality of Isona i Conca Dellà).

This piece is the result of investigations carried out by the Mesozoic research group. The importance of the titanosaurus lies in the fact that it is evidence of the last sauropod dinosaurs that lived in Europe, shortly before becoming extinct. It is a relatively small and graceful animal, very different from large sauropods of the Jurassic and early Cretaceous periods.
