Personatge davant el sol is an example of the controlled gesture that characterizes Miró’s paintings in the late 1960s.
The white colour provides support to the others, but there is no area bereft of any colour note or signs. The black, drawn in a single stroke without careful boundaries, defines the outline of the character and draws a circle to its side, leaving a fringe of trails. The addition of other colours respects the divisions and open zones.
