During this period, Pericot was concerned with two specific issues: space and the aesthetics of movement. He attained these two objectives with pieces that create the sense of inclusion in space. He set up no methodological barriers between painting and relief. He made pictorial use of the interplay between colour and the shadow of relief and the real light of the object.
