These polychrome staniferous ceramic panels consist of a set of square tiles measuring 13cm and framed by a border with geometric motifs and the escutcheon of the patron, Pere de Fizes.
The decorative programme per gallery is as follows: the conversion of Francis (west), approval and growth of the order (south), penitence and miracles of poverty (east), and the humility of Francis (north).
This panel shows saint Francis on a chariot of fire drawn by two white horses. A group of friars minor observe him in the background: three are looking at the sky with their arms raised and two kneel as a sign of respect.
This is the glorification of Saint Francis in imitation of the prophet Elias.
