A round table with a central foot which belonged to Jacint Verdaguer. It was donated to the Museum in 1993 by a priest from Folgueroles who had looked after this piece of the poet's furniture up until that time. 

On the table there is a copy of the handwritten letter that Verdaguer sent to Marià Aguiló, dated February 8, 1871, which reads:

“Dearest friend, I no longer have a mother! How sad is this word that I had never said and now it strikes my heart at every moment!... "
