The name of Verdaguer written on the torrent of Folgueroles is the work of the poet and artist Perejaume. The intervention consisted of marking the torrent with the poet's signature stroke, in 2002, when the centenary of the death of Jacint Verdaguer was celebrated.

This piece of land art aimed to show the vastness of the work of the poet and the human inability to capture it as a whole.

The artist says, “Among the whereabouts given over to the auspices of an author, Folgueroles is without a doubt one of the most unmistakable. The town and its surroundings are a palette of Verdaguer venues; its deep, dark ravine, Nitons, the thumbhole for taking it firmly in the hand".
