This jardinière comes from Casa Sañé, at the Junction between Carrer de Topete and Carrer de Sant Jaume. The piece consists of a main body of mortar clad with coloured mosaic ceramic tiles, with a floral band and Greek border along the top. The same piece, with slight variations, is included in a 1919 catalogue from the Barcelona firm of Eliseu Querol. The jardinière stands on a wrought-iron support with four double legs and a central hoop and is decorated with volutes and floral motifs. It was very probably made at a local locksmith’s workshop.
