Wrought iron zoomorphic-type andiron, 125 cm long, 36 cm high and weighing 30 kg. This is one of the most important pieces found in the Iberian settlement of Puig Castellar.
Formed by a horizontal shaft, it stands on four feet. The ends of the shaft are bent upwards to form a neck at each end, with the head of a bull at one end and a ram's head at the other. The heads are finished off with a conical snout and two horns. The use of andirons is linked to religious ceremonies.
