A portable container for homeopathic medicines prescribed by Dr. Raimon Comet i Fargas (1855-1919), a leading homeopath with his practice in Barcelona.

In the form pf a sheath, the container still has ten of the twelve flasks that it originally contained, each with a specific preparation. A card is also preserved with the name of each remedy, its use and dosage.

It was probably designed to be carried on board ship as a first-aid kit. The medical equipment on board ship was not particularly sophisticated, and the first-aid kit consisted of homeopathic remedies and Rubinat water, Madrid salt, Carabaña water, iodine and hydrophilic bandages and cotton wool.
