The biconic cup is the most characteristic piece of tableware from the Iberian Laietanian world. The form has a clearly indigenous origin, as similar pieces from the early Iron Age settlement found on the UAB site and others from the ancient Iberian settlement of Can Xercavins make manifest. They were used for the consumption of liquids and the potters produced recipients made with both oxidized clay as well as the more characteristic grey ware.
