This pot from the early medieval period is one of the few examples of material evidence of the occupation of Ca n’Oliver after the Iberian period. It is a clumsy-looking, hand-crafted container, slow baked in a reducing atmosphere (without oxygen), reminiscent of a prehistoric container and reflecting the decline in certain forms of technical knowledge with respect to previous eras. Like the tupí, the pot as a vessel in which to cook food enjoys a long tradition.
