The Greeks devised children's game as an imitation of adults’ professions in order to prepare children for their future. In 2010, in the necropolis south of the Greek city of Emporion, a figurine of the 5th - 4th centuries BC that alluded to a trade. The baker, sitting on a stool, holds a circular shovel in his right hand that contains five bread rolls and a baguette. On the figure, the facial features -eyes, nose and mouth- may be appreciated. This figurine, common in the Greek era, was found in a child’s tomb.
