Umbo of a shield from tomb no. 51 of the Laietan necropolis of Turó dels Dos Pins, excavated in 1986. In the same tomb, numerous La Tène-style iron weapons were found, such as swords and spearheads, along with the metal parts of shields: umbos and protective edges.

This iron umbo, which is crafted in the shape butterfly wings, was part of an oval-shaped shield. During the excavation process, it was found whole and very well conserved, with the two wide-head nails and rod that supported the shield and the hand piece.
