Circular warp knitting loom to weave socks which allowed jacquard, micro-loops, lock-knit fabric, patterns and openwork.
The manufacturer of this machine, Emili Albo, founded the company in Mataró in 1943, right in the middle of the economic autarchy after the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). The apogee of the workshops manufacturing textile machinery in Mataró dovetailed with the strong demand in the sector to modernise its productive apparatus. The quality of the machines built in the city was recognised worldwide, and they were exported to the rest of Europe, Asia and the Americas.
