A mosaic that originally embellished the Roman villa of El Romeral (Albesa). The Diocesan and Comarcal Museum of Lleida. Lleida.

A fragment of one of the mosaics that originally presided over the spaces of the Roman villa of El Romeral in Albesa (la Noguera region). It stands out for its decoration of geometric or naturalistic figurative motifs related to the rural world, including leaves, birds and fruit. The archaeological excavations carried out on the villa since 1965 have shown that more than 500 m2 of its flooring was decorated with mosaics. This fragment dates from the 4th-5th centuries AD and is deposited at the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia.
