The centre is in the upper part of the refurbished municipal social centre building.

A part of the Town Hall formerly known as El Centro was renovated in the late 1980s, preserving the main façade made up of three portals with widows on each side. Since 2009 the upper floor has housed the Interpretation Centre, while on the ground floor there is a tourist information office. The Interpretation Centre has two rooms. The first houses the permanent exhibition with original objects, audiovisuals, illustrations and texts. They show the natural resources of the mountains and how they have been transformed by the hand of humankind, in other words, the humanisation of the mountains. The other is a multipurpose room for temporary exhibitions, talks, etc.
