Fragment of a clay-baked plate decorated with fish and crustaceans. In the middle of the plate there is a hole for sauce. The plate comes from Empúries and the Classical Greek period, dated from the 4th century BC.

Since ancient times, humans have used the sea for fishing and travel. Different objects testify to the use of marine resources and the culture behind this relationship.
