The original chapel, a hermitage with an adjoining necropolis, dates from the 10th century. It was built on the site of a Roman villa, several of whose structures still remain. The religious building was remodelled first in the Gothic period (13th and 14th centuries) and subsequently in the baroque period (17th and 18th centuries). The Chapel of Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria is located in the natural surroundings of the La Salut sanctuary.
