This work is by Marian Burguès i Serra (Sabadell, 1851-1932) and was made in around 1896 in his studio in Sabadell. Inspired by Oriental and mannerist forms, they stand out for the outstanding technique in the use of enamel, especially the marbling that he achieves at the base of the watering groove, the shaping and modelling, and the large size of the pieces.

This is a donation from Maria Puig to the Art Museum of Cerdanyola.
