The Manresa County Museum was opened at the end of the 19th century. Since then, it has preserved and disseminated the artistic and historical heritage of Manresa and Bages. It is located in the old Sant Ignasi school, a neoclassical building with a beautiful central cloister.
The visit to the exhibition presents a journey back in time, with objects and works of art dating from the area's first human occupation, 6,000 years ago, until the present day.

Free admission: the first Sunday of the month and on local festival days, senior citizens and children up to 16 years of age.

Closed: Mondays, except public holidays, 1st and 6th January, 1st May, Good Friday, 25th and 26th December.
