The Museu Comarcal de l’Urgell-Tàrrega is housed in the old mansion of the Perelló family, and has four permanent exhibitions.

The museum stores and displays a considerable collection of fossils from the quarries of Talladell, as well as many painted and sculpted works by Tàrrega artists of the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first centuries. It also has a collection of ethnological material, a photographic archive, and an extensive wardrobe of costumes from the early twentieth century, a gift from the family of the distinguished writer from La Segarra, Manuel de Pedrolo.

Since 1989 the museum has edited and published Urtx – Revista de Humanititats d’Urgell (Review of Humanities of Urgell), an annual miscellany of essays and research related to its principal areas of interest entitled.
