In addition to the works carried out at the University, Jaume Padró, the sculptor from the city of Manresa, chiselled the reredos of the main altar in the parish church of Santa Maria and the Holy Mystery altarpiece. His was a frantic activity: we can find him working on private jobs or finishing assignments in other towns, but also sculpting minor works such as several figures of apostles made of terracotta, which were probably given as presents in exchange for favours.
