The Wheat and Farming Museum houses a rich collection of objects related to everyday life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries; tools and implements which decorated the house and which were part of the daily tasks of a country family. The dining room, with all the service ware set, is one of the most evocative rooms. This glazed ewer, or pitcher, was placed on an alcove on top of a sink and held water to wash one’s hands.
