This delicate silk bodice is decorated with floral motifs in different colours on a reddish background and with hand-embroidered stitching. The structure of the front is sustained by a mesh of fine metal rods. The pointed neckline was tied together, although only the small holes for the laces have survived. The three-quarter-length sleeves end in spreading pieces of linen tulle.
