The Museum has original items for traditional crafts, such as this carpenter’s bench.

A carpenter’s bench from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, made of wood and iron. RRemains of the original green paint are still visible. The bench allows the planks and posts to be firmly held and worked on at a comfortable height. The Museum preserves a range of tools related with the work of carpenters, the plane for mouldings, flanging tool, milling tool, set square, dowel, rebate cutter, jack plane, gouges and saws. Ship-builders used these benches to shape specific pieces for vessels.
