This mummy, along with other items, was donated by Eduard Toda in 1886, after his sojourn in Egypt. He donated the rest of the materials to the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid.

The child in question would have been aged about five, to judge from the fact that he still preserves his milk teeth. However, it has not been possible to determine the child’s sex. X-rays have clearly shown the dislocated bones of the trunk, the clavicle, the ribs and the thorax as a result of the mummification process, during which major pressure was exerted on the body.
